Which product is right for me?
If you have had little to no experience using Excel then take one of the Beginners training courses. We recommend“Excel Basics” training course as it will give you a solid base to get started in Excel.
If you have used Excel before and want to advance your skills further then choose an intermediate training course. We would suggest, as a starter, the “Excel Shortcuts” and “Excel Functions” training courses. The “Excel Shortcuts” training course shows you how to use a variety or keyboard shortcuts to dramatically improve your efficiency in Excel. The “Excel Functions” training course teaches you how to use advanced functions to solve complex problems. The two training courses complement each other very well and would put new intermediate Excel users in a good position to start looking at some of the tougher intermediate training courses or the advanced training courses.
If you are aware and use numerous Excel keyboard shortcuts and functions then an advanced training course would be best for you. Although you’re an advanced Excel user we are sure that these training courses will teach you some additional features and further your financial modelling skills.

You will need the following software to use the training courses effectively:
Zip: Each downloadable training course is contained in a zip folder. This allows the file to be compressed to minimize download time. If you don’t have access to zip software you can download it for free at http://www.7-zip.org/.
Software able to open video files: If you don’t have video software you can download video software for free at http://windows.microsoft.com/.
Microsoft Excel: The starter and the completed spreadsheet’s can be downloaded for Microsoft Excel 2007/2010.
PDF reader: A PDF presentation or sheet is given with each training course. You will need PDF reader to open this sheet. It is available for free from http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
A personal computer: Note that whilst some of the training course material would also be applicable for a Mac, the training courses are fully functional on a personal computer.
How long does it take to download the content?
This varies based on the training course you’re downloading. The free spreadsheets and demonstrations take between no time at all, whereas some of the advanced training courses (which are more than 1GB in size) can take over 5 and a half hours (based on an extremely slow download rate). For the larger training courses it is recommended that the user downloads the content overnight.
